Limehouse has also been placed on the honor role for the “Conservation Voters of South Carolina”. “The quality of life here on the South Carolina coast is second to none and in order to keep it, we have to work at it every day.” In 2002 the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League recognized Limehouse for his efforts in protecting Daniel Island. I also look forward to assisting our great institutions of Higher Learning with all of their many worthy capitol projects. Higher education is a great economic driver for our state.” Earlier this year Limehouse played a key role in Republican Presidential politics with a timely endorsement of Senator John McCain days before the South Carolina Primary.
