When the recession hit in 2007, South Carolina faced a serious budget deficit. Instead of making up names like fiscal cliff or cutting backroom deals to raise taxes, we actually cut spending – by 30%. That’s the kind of leadership I’ll show in Washington.

Washington is headed in the wrong direction.

I’ll fight to once again balance the federal budget just as your family budget is balanced and the South Carolina budget is balanced.
I’ll fight wasteful government spending every day until we get control of our fiscal house again.
I’ll help the job creators so we can grow our economy.
I’ll fight for lower taxes so the American Dream comes alive again.
I’ll fight everyday against a President who is destroying American prosperity and trampling on South Carolina’s rights and values.
